My first jelly sandwich! I've seen pictures online of this type of technique and had to try it.
This was 2 coats of Essie Jelly Apple, 1 coat of China Glaze Blonde Bombshell (Eye Candy Collection), then 1 coat of Jelly Apple. I applied Seche Vite as the top coat and let it dry for a few minutes. Then I thought it would be fun to add some stamping. This was with Konad plate m73 and Bundle Monster BM-225 for the "Love" character all with Essence Nail Art Stampy Polish in Stamp Me! Black.
This is with flash along with the pic above.
This was without flash and the polish didn't come out true to color. It's a very cherry red in real life.
Jelly Apple applied really nicely, the first coat did come out really pink but the second really deepened to a nice cherry shade and juicy looking too! When I applied Blonde Bombshell, which is a multi sized gold glitter, the Jelly Apple coated it really well without making the glitter dull. Hopefully soon I'll be able to get a camera where I can take macro shots that show those details :)
I was really hoping to take photos in the sun but it always seems to be cloudy when I think about it. Please excuse the messy clean up, I didn't notice how bad it looked until I saw the pictures.
Have so much more to post so hope you will be back to visit! Thanks for stopping by!
